These are just some of the injuries this beautiful young mother suffered after she was reportedly beaten with a baseball bat by her ex-husband because she refused to loan him money.

Photographer Efsun Habiboglu, 29, married Gokhan Sen, age not disclosed, nearly four years ago but the relationship deteriorated quickly resulting in divorce just six months later.

After divorcing her husband, Efsun was given full custody of their now three-year-old daughter.

The 29-year-old mother started a new life with her daughter near her sister’s home in the district of Basiskele in the Turkish province of Kocaeli.

The news site Onedio said Sen called his ex-wife to ask for a loan of TRY 2,000 (GBP 168) last month.

However, after she refused to send him the money he allegedly reacted by threatening and insulting her.

Onedio said Sen drove to the victim’s home and found Efsun leaving her home.

Sen allegedly used his car to force Efsun off the road, sending her crashing into a guardrail.

Efsun said: “After the accident, I filed a complaint to the police. Four days later, my sister invited me for dinner on 3rd May. Before going over to her house I decided to take the rubbish out.”

She then claimed that her ex-husband suddenly attacked her with a baseball bat.

Efsun said: “He beat me for several minutes. He went completely crazy because I didn’t loan him the money.”

After the alleged beating, she went directly to the police who detained him shortly after the incident.

However, the suspect was released soon after and allegedly proceeded to send Efsun a threatening text message saying: “You’re going to die.”

She says she was completely terrified and took to social media to tell her story with the hopes of getting enough attention to protect herself and other women in similar situations.

The story quickly spread online and was later covered by Turkish media.
