A Turkish man is facing life in prison after going on TV to protest his innocence in the murder of a young mother of two who was his former girlfriend and getting such a tough grilling by the host he had to confess afterwards to the cops that he was guilty.

Aygun’s estranged boyfriend, Muharrem Coskun, 38, who had been quizzed about her disappearance but released, had gone on the TV show as well but after tough questioning decided the game was up, and after leaving the studio went to the prosecutor’s office and admitted that he killed Arzu.

He had reportedly been insanely jealous of her and said that after killing the mother of two with a gun, he had dragged her body in a sack to his car and then after buying some beers, are driven to a forest 71 kilometres (44.117 miles) where he hid the body.

Arzu had apparently had some inkling that her boyfriend might have something planned that she had written instead of his name the words “Beware, danger” alongside his number in her cell phone contacts.
