Brazilian Vanusa Freitas, 31, who was featured on the cover of the January 2024 edition of Finland’s Playboy magazine, said she recently experienced an episode of transphobia in a London restaurant.

The former Miss BumBum told of the embarrassing situation where she said she was being confused for a trans person and prevented from using the bathroom.

Vanusa told her fans: “I asked the waiter where the women’s bathroom was, and he promptly told me that only women could use the women’s bathroom.

“I kept insisting that I was a woman, but he didn’t believe it.”

Vanusa, who has nearly 120,000 Instagram followers, said she had to find a way and prove her gender.

“They even said that trans women are very beautiful and that it’s not normal for them.”

The model did not disclose the name of the restaurant.

Previously, the model had shared her happiness of a dream come true.

She said: “Very grateful for all the effort and support that made this possible.
