This is the shocking moment a woman is shot in both legs after her estranged husband forces a door open and opens fire on her with a shotgun in an attack that ended up costing her one of her limbs.

The footage was captured on a security camera and shows the incident in the town of Fethiye, in the Turkish province of Mugla, on 24th January, although it has only surfaced now.
The CCTV images show the victim struggling to keep a door closed before she is overpowered and it flings open as a man enters and appears to shoot her in the legs with a shotgun.
Hatice K., 43, was rushed to Mugla Training and Research Hospital after being hit in the legs with a shotgun, allegedly by her estranged husband Veli K., 46, as the couple went through divorce proceedings.
She spent three weeks in intensive care before surgeons amputated her left leg, and she now remains bedridden while doctors battle to save the right one through repeated skin grafts.
Speaking from her hospital bed, she recalled the threats she said came before the attack.

She said: “He constantly threatened to kill me and to not let me live.
“He hurled threats at me, those around me, my family and my friends, saying, ‘You cannot stay in this city, you cannot live in Fethiye. I cannot live without you, I will kill you. Either you make peace with me.’
“Afterwards he wanted to reconcile, and I did not accept.
“When I refused, one day he told his business partner, ‘I am going to shoot her, I will not let her live.’
“He took the shotgun and cruelly shot me in the legs.”
She added that she was targeted only for seeking to end the marriage and is now appealing for help.
She said: “One of my legs is gone.
“I wish this never happens to any other woman, no one deserves this.”
Veli K. was detained by police and jailed by a court after the attack, and his trial is ongoing.
