This is the moment of a Turkish man runs from his sister’s house after allegedly shooting her dead after she started living separately from her estranged husband.
The incident took place in the district of Nusaybin in the south-western Turkish city of Mardin on 15th March.
Mother-of-one Gulbahar Asabay, 25, who lived apart from her estranged husband, was attacked by a gunman at her home.

Neighbours who heard the gunshots immediately called the police and paramedics on the scene gave first aid to the victim.
Asabay was rushed to hospital in a critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries.
According to reports, the police suspect that the victim’s 20-year-old brother, identified as Ali Ihsan E., carried out the shooting.

The police looked through 41 hours of CCTV footage from 30 cameras to identify the suspect and determine his route of escape.
During a raid on 17th March, Ali Ihsan E. was detained by the authorities.
In the CCTV footage, a man is seen running from the crime scene, reportedly while still holding a gun, although it is unclear in the clip if he has a weapon.

While the motive of the alleged murder is still unclear, the suspect is being held in custody as the investigation continues.
