A mum-of-two was shot in the head and killed by her husband in a broad daylight as she arrived to pick up her daughter from school in front of horrified witnesses.
The killing happened in the Fatih district in Istanbul, Turkey, on 5th March.
Semiha Deniz, 33, had gone to the street near her daughter’s school to collect the 14-year-old when she was confronted by her husband, Emrah Deniz, 40, who she was in the process of divorcing.
Witnesses said the man arrived on a motorcycle before getting off and firing multiple shots at the woman in the middle of the street.
One of the bullets struck Semiha in the head, causing her to collapse onto the ground in front of people gathered in the area during school pick-up time.
Footage shows her lying on the pavement as shocked witnesses scream and gather around her.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the injured woman was taken to hospital, but she later died from her injuries.

Police said the suspect fled the scene on the motorcycle immediately after the shooting.
A short time later, he surrendered to police and was taken into custody before being referred to court following questioning by homicide detectives.
Investigators said the couple had been experiencing marital problems and were in the process of divorcing.
Semiha had previously filed complaints against her husband for offences including child abduction and disturbing the peace.
Authorities also confirmed that a two-month restraining order had been issued against him on 8th January.
In his statement to police, Deniz admitted pulling out the gun but claimed it discharged accidentally during a struggle.

He reportedly told investigators that he had gone to the school hoping to see his children and began arguing with his wife when they encountered each other.
A woman who witnessed the shooting said the attacker fired three shots after getting off the motorcycle, with one striking the victim directly in the head.
She said the man shouted: “If you are not smart, this is what happens. You end up dead like this.”
Another witness, identified as Sukran Kose, said the couple argued briefly before the man pulled a gun from his waist and fired at the woman as a large crowd gathered nearby.
Deniz remains in custody while the investigation continues.
