This grim footage shows the remains of a young woman after her ex killed her and put her body through a meat grinder while their two children were in another room watching television.
Jose Alejandro Romeo Duran was caught by police while attempting to dispose of the victim’s remains after the murder in Lima, Peru, on 6th March.
Officers from the San Cosme police station forced entry into the apartment after neighbours reported a powerful foul smell coming from the home.

Inside the bathroom, they found the dismembered remains of Beatriz Carolina Huampiri Borda, 30.
According to Colonel Gaston Alzamora Solorzano, head of the Police Operations Division Centre 2, officers broke into the third-floor apartment and discovered the victim’s body had been severed and placed inside the bathroom.
Investigators said Romero Duran had allegedly purchased a meat grinder that police believe he intended to use to destroy the remains and eliminate evidence of the crime.
Authorities said officers detained the suspect less than 24 hours after the killing while he was allegedly manipulating the machine inside the apartment.
At the time of the crime, the couple’s two daughters, aged four and seven, were reportedly in another room watching television, unaware of what was happening.
Police also seized the meat grinder and a wooden box that investigators believe may have been intended to transport the remains.

The relationship between Beatriz and her ex partner had previously been marked by episodes of violence, according to reports.
In 2022, Romero Duran reportedly filed a complaint accusing the victim of causing injuries with a bladed weapon, which police say indicates earlier conflicts between the pair.
Following his arrest, the suspect remained silent during the police intervention and was taken into custody while authorities continue collecting evidence and witness statements.
The Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations said it is providing specialised psychological support to the couple’s two children and has notified the Special Protection Unit to determine who will assume their care.
