Dad Cut Daughter Into Pieces And Put Body In Freezer To Punish Her For Coming Home Drunk

A Turkish father has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for killing his daughter after claiming she came home drunk and then hiding her chopped up body parts in the freezer.

Doner kebab master Hasan Uslu strangled his daughter Didem Uslu to death in the district of Kesan in the north-western Turkish province of Edirne.

He told the court that it was his daughter’s fault as she had arrived g´home late at night drunk, and insulted her mother and then argued with him when he told her to be respectful.

He said he had lost his temper when she argued back, and killed her.

The defendant attended the hearing via video while his wife, accused of failing to report the crime, did not attend.

Uslu, who maintained his innocence, asked to be released as he is in danger of contracting COVID-19 in prison and is at risk due to his age and underlying conditions.

However, the court found Uslu guilt of “deliberately killing” his daughter and he was sentenced to 24 years behind bars.

Meanwhile, his wife Sati Uslu was reportedly acquitted after initially being charged with failing to report the crime. She said she had felt unwell after her daughter’s attack and had gone to her room where she passed out.

The crime cene to light last year when a passerby found a dismembered arm wrapped in newspaper and informed the local authorities. The police carried out a fingerprint test on the limb and concluded that it belonged to Didem Uslu.

Following an investigation, it was determined that the victim’s father had killed his daughter before dismembering her body and freezing it. He then tried to dispose of it in a nearby forest piece by piece.
