Amazing Chinese Gran, 78, Is Pole Dancing Champ At Asia’s Got Talent Contest

Meet the amazing 78-year-old Chinese granny who is a pole dancing champion.

Dai Dali reportedly took home a gold medal at a recent competition and represented her country at the Asia’s Got Talent contest.

Wearing make-up as well as a mini skirt and heels, the footage shows her performing athletic moves as she expertly does the splits and even hangs from a pole on stage while upside down.

The former bookshop worker, from south-western China’s Sichuan province, took up dancing after she retired when she hit 64 years old.

Dubbed the oldest pole dancer in China, she has conquered China with her vow to keep dancing into her 80s.

Dai even has about 180,000 followers on Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China.

She said: “Don’t let age limit us. I want to age gracefully.”

Dai has won competitions and been on television and even represented China at the Asia’s Got Talent competition, according to local media reports.

After her Asia’s Got Talent show, she even reportedly received a standing ovation from all four of the judges.

One of the judges, the American music producer David Foster, joked: “I think I met my next wife.”

Dai said she was “very honoured”, but added: “He is a little too young for me.”
